I Love You I'm Sorry Please Forgive Me Thank You

On 100% responsibility, from A Course in Miracles

“I am responsible for what I see, I choose the feelings that I experience, and I decide upon the goals that I will achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me, I ask for and receive as I have asked.”

How many of us have found crossovers from Ho'oponopono to ACIM? Please share.

Hi Michael, I would definitely say YES!!!! Cognitive therapy also addresses the belief of taking responsibilty for one's actions.;

"What is cognitive therapy?
Cognitive-behavioral therapy is a relatively short-term, focused psychotherapy for a wide range of psychological problems including depression, anxiety, anger, marital conflict, loneliness, panic, fears, eating disorders, substance abuse, alcohol abuse and dependence and personality problems. The focus of therapy is on how you are thinking, behaving, and communicating today rather than on your early childhood experiences. The therapist assists the patient in identifying specific distortions (using cognitive assessment) and biases in thinking and provides guidance on how to change this thinking.
Cognitive therapy helps the patient learn effective self-help skills that are used in homework assignments that help you change the way you think, feel and behave now. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is action-oriented, practical, rational, and helps the patient gain independence and effectiveness in dealing with real-life issues."
It is a methodology used by psychologists, as I begin to understand both(CT and Ho'oponopono), each discipline is tied to the inner power and strength that we all possess.
Also Yogic principles alos seems very much aligned with Ho-oponopono:
"Loving kindness toward yourself, and others, starts from the moment you wake up. Stop criticizing yourself and others. Take positive action and you will see big changes. This is very hard to do, but try not to make negative comments about those who do not live up to your standards. If you can help by being a good example, that’s fine, but do not make it an issue, or a point of contention.

Never beat yourself up with criticism. If you have done wrong, make an effort to change and find solutions, but do not dwell on past mistakes. It will not be to your benefit to meditate on guilt.

Forgiveness is important for your survival and the quality of your own life. You have to let go and forgive others, for your own good. A grudge is a “prison sentence.” Let it go and you become free to do more important things. If you do not let it go, your overall health will suffer, as a result."
Forgive me if this was to long..but ti was a great question!!!

Everything I have read or heard about recently, whether Ho'oponopono, ACIM, Prana healing, LOA, The Secret .... all seems to stem from the same place.
Each form of truth is geared to reach people at different levels of understanding so no-one can say they didn't know about it.
I am now certain that this is so. I also am willing to accept that my conscious self doesn't really know anything, which opens up all sorts of possibilities. My higher self knows everything and so I clean and clean to get back to zero without any blockages. When I have achieved this, I will be acting from inspiration and no longer from memories or conditioning. Until I have achieved this, I trust that my higher self will arrange everything to happen in the best possible way and at the best possible time for me and all who are involved (we are all one anyway).
I let go and clean. The cleaner I get, the cleaner everyone else becomes. The great thing is: I don't need to do this "to" or "with" or "for" anyone but myself. That's how Dr. Hew Len "healed" the criminally insane.
I am 100% responsible for what I see.
I choose to feel good about anything I experience, because there is a reason for it.
I have decided to return to zero.
Everything happening to me is sent from my/our higher self for the good of all.
Peace of I
Lea
